Characters from the Battle for Fantasia

This is designed as a reference page for my characters. I will update the page regularly as characters develop, so don't be surprised if it facts change between views.

~The Trio:

*Sterling Blade*
Race: Human
Height: 5 ft 10 in
Hair: Medium length, Sandy Blonde
Eyes: Gray
Weapons: Magina (magic-absorbing dagger), Eye of the Storm (Magical lightning blade), Father's sword (generic long sword)
Powers:
Basic Magic – Sterling has command over basic magic, which primarily consists of pulses that deflect incoming matter and other spells. He can also sense magic.
Blitzen – German for "Flash", Blitzen appears as a lightning bolt that slams into a target with extreme force
Sky Rift – Creates a rampaging line of electricity that tears across the battlefield. Can only be used in conjunction with the Eye of the Storm (See "Weapons")
Furor-Tonitrui – Latin for "Madness of Thunder", this ability only comes out in rare cases, when all of the energy within both Sterling and the Eye of the Storm are needed to defeat a foe. It acts in similar fashion to an extremely powerful "Blitzen" (see above)
-Character Notes-
Yes, I'm the little guy. I don't mind being small, but it's a little unnerving that everyone wants to eat me – and yes you voraphiles I DO NOT like being eaten. But I guess when I look around the food chain the dragons are all really nice to me, my being human and all; it's a little weird how nice Embyr is to me, but that's just friendship for you… it is just friendship, right?

*Embyr*
Race: Dragoness
Height: 63 ft (and growing!)
Scales: Midnight Black
Hair: Long, white
Eyes: Blood-Red
Weapons: Claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
Black Terror – Though not an active power, Embyr keeps even other dragons in constant fear of her with her sheer size and physical strength and endurance. She is the size of a standard adult dragon but is only slightly beyond the half-way point in her growth
-Character Notes-
Yes, my name is spelled wrong. You can thank drow; he read some book with a mythical creature called an "Embyr" so he decided to use a 'y' instead of an 'e'. Dumbass. In case my delicious little treat didn't already tell you he and I are friends; and don't him tell I said this, but we won't be just friends for very long. I'm thinking that, since he already got to second base, third is just around the corner… whoever tells Sterling I said that gets eaten, understand?

*Crystal*
Race: Dragoness
Height: 45 ft
Scales: Sky Blue
Hair: Long, black
Eyes: Golden (or see "Powers")
Weapons: Claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
Basic Magic – Crystal can use basic magical spells after eating humans to supply her body with mana. Spells include the ability to detect magic and pulses that deflect both incoming magic and physical attacks
Burning Blood – Upon kissing the blood-stained lips of her dying friend, Pyros, Crystal managed to get some of the red dragon's blood into her veins. When sorely pressed in combat the blood reaches her heart and is pumped through her body, temporarily giving her power beyond even that of the Inner Council. When in this state her golden eyes turn a crimson red
Royal Blood – Crystal has the blood of Gale, one of the mightiest dragons to ever live, flowing through her veins after several generations. Her hunting skills are improved by this in addition to her status among dragon kind for having royal blood
-Character Notes-
Hello, my little snacks. Considering the fact that I am a dragon, I'm the shortest of the infamous trio, I know; but you have to admit I'm not exactly the weakest. Am I a little jealous of Embyr? Certainly not for looks, but I do admit it would be nice to have gotten to second base with Sterling… oh shit, I actually told you guys that. That was one of those "If I told you, I'd have to kill you" moments, so everyone reading this is now on the menu. But, while I'm opening up, STERLING GOT INSIDE EMBYR!!! I don't want to know where that tiara is taking him but DAMN IT SOMONE GET ME ONE! Sterling trusts me enough to get cozy with my insides right? RIGHT!?

~The Inner Council:

*Blaze*
Race: Dragoness
Height: 61 ft
Scales: Purple
Hair: Long, black
Eyes: Silver
Weapons: Cleaver (dwarven-made bastard sword said to "cut through solid rock"), claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
Detection – Blaze is able to read half-truths and lies as they are spoken, learning the truth that any speaker before her tries to hide
Spokesman – Blaze is known to be one of the most charismatic among dragons
-Character Notes-
I think I'm starting to like you humans more after getting to know Sterling. Your weapons have always interested me; I even had a friendly group of dwarves smith Cleaver for me. Just because I like you doesn't mean I won't eat you, though, so don't try to get too cozy with me (*Giant Purple People Eater plays in the background*).

*Pyre*
Race: Dragoness
Height: 75 ft
Scales: Red
Hair: Long, black
Eyes: Red
Weapons: Claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
Red Terror – Pyre is unquestionably the mightiest of all dragons in both the depth of her wisdom and her prowess in combat
-Character Notes-
I was the previous queen of the dragons, a position I held for most of my two millennia in the realm of Fantasia. My death was for a cause I cannot deny had merit, an end any goodly, lawful creature would have accepted. My only regret is that I didn't get to eat one particular human…

*Venom*
Race: Dragoness
Height: 65 ft
Scales: Green
Hair: Short, black
Eyes: Gray
Weapons: Claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
The Gray Eyes of the Forest – Venom's sense of smell is so great that she can "see" for miles around, able to identify both threats, allies, and prey. Her hunting abilities are, unquestionably, the greatest among dragons
-Character Notes-
Start running while I talk; I want this hunt to be fun. Despite being a huntress animals aren't my thing since they're so predictable. No, you guys are what I really want. I don't like you to come easy to me; I want you to give me a good run, to let my adrenaline get going as I track you down, to feel the rush as I finally catch you. And then I get to savor you, feel you squirm as you slide down – oh look, time's up, I hope you found a good hiding place!

*Razor*
Race: Dragon
Height: 50 ft
Scales: Blue
Hair: Short, black
Eyes: Red
Weapons: Claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
Sky Fire – Razor is unquestionably the fastest among dragons, able to fly at an incredible six-hundred-miles-an-hour in perfect weather
-Character Notes-
I am the fastest among dragons. I am small, yes, but I would like to see an enemy try to take a swipe at something they can't catch. I find it a bit unnerving that I am the only male on the Inner Council; it's almost like Drow has some sort of obsession with female dragons… weird…

*Onyx*
Race: Dragoness
Height: 60 ft
Scales: Black
Hair: Long, black
Eyes: Green (or see "Powers")
Weapons: Claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
Magic use – Onyx has mastered spell use, able to use feats of magic that baffle even human wizards
The Night – Onyx can become one with the night, her green eyes fading away to jet-black as her body seems to meld into the darkness to become completely invisible
-Character Notes-
I am Sterling's mentor in the field of magic. He shows a lot of potential, and I intend to guide him in the right direction. Do I like the kid? Yes… maybe a little too much – but Embyr can have him, I'm not the jealous type. I don't like being around others – except maybe Sterling – whether they are dragons or humans… and, speaking of you humans, I need to eat regularly to keep my mana up. Hold still… *nom*

*Crag*
Race: Dragoness
Height: 80 ft
Scales: Gray
Hair: Long, red
Eyes: Green
Weapons: Claws, teeth, fiery breath, tail
Powers:
Moving Mountain – Crag is the largest of all living dragons, rivaled only by the fact that Embyr has not yet hit her growth spurt
Immortal – Though stabbed in the heart twice, it appears as though this dragon is unable to by physically killed
-Character Notes-
I think it is very sweet that you came to read about me – and no, that was not a comment about your taste, little ones. I am what Drow refers to as a "gentle giantess" since I take no pleasure in eating you guys – especially not being so cruel as to swallow you whole, like what most dragons prefer. There's a secret behind my immortality, the fact that my heart, rumored to have been pierced twice, is on the right half of my body, a rare but not unheard of event. And, as Drow has said, I am basically a moving mountain; ironic that the largest dragon is also the most gentle among the Inner Council. Still, that's not to say that I haven't found a rather alluring attraction to Sterling's taste… it's a rather nice prize for winning chess games.

~The Duo:
*Tyus*
Race: Dark Elf (Drow)
Height: 6 ft 10 in
Hair: Short, spiky, black
Eyes: Blood-Red, Reptilian
Weapons: Flame Seeker (Magical flaming sword), Shadowsong [(Nightsong/Shadowmourn) Magical shadow sword(s)]
Powers:
Dark Rift – throws a line of dark magical energy from Shadowsong, slicing through everything in its path. Not as powerful as Rifts from the Key swords
Tainted Blood – Tyus can grow claws, scales, and a tail as well as breathe fire as a dragon would
-Character Notes-
Drow – arrogant poser – has insisted I elaborate on myself since I have been accepted among the Council. I was raised far beneath the surface of the world in a dark realm known as the Underdark, a place where my own mother infused her infant son with the blood of both dragons and demons. I have forsaken that place for the world of light, a realm in which I met Silver. Though the dragon has shown me many things, probably the most surprising realization I have found in this new world is the fact that I rather like the idea of being eaten. Crystal, as of today, is my favorite "predator"; though I've had my eye on another dragon, one who I have a rather unsettling attraction towards. I blame my mother's spell; damn dragon blood.

*Silver*
Race: Dragon
Height: 50 ft
Scales: Silver
Hair: Short, spiky, silver
Eyes: Silver
Weapons: Claws, teeth, icy breath, tail
Powers:
Frozen Core – Silver, as opposed to most dragons, breathes ice instead of fire

-Character Notes-
Alright, so I'm the guy traveling with a certain grumpy-ass dark elf (see above), a lucky little human (also see above), a hungry naga (you haven't gotten to her yet, keep reading), and a pair of practically starving female dragons. You get the idea that I'm not a normal dragon (I breathe ice! That's not normal…) and that I don't really have a normal companion (the drow I've been following around for two centuries is FREAKING POSSESSED). Still, I do my best to get along with everyone; that especially has its perks when a certain blue dragon is involved ^=^

~Other:

*Arthenia*
Race: Kobold
Height: 6 ft
Fur: Brown
Eyes: Orange
Weapons: small war-hammer, generic long sword
Powers:
Leadership – Arthenia leads the Blackwater kobold clan. Her position also allows her a nearly limitless supply of healing salve, which she uses to aid those she would call friends and companions
-Character Notes-
I think I like humans and dragons now. They aren't so bad. I thought Crystal and Embyr would see me as food at first… but it turns out I don't taste very good. I hope that isn't an insult. I have a responsibility to my clan, but I want to help the trio out as much as I can as often as I can. Sterling spared my life and Crystal went on to become my best friend, so I figure I owe them.

*Bane*

-Character Notes-
I hate being small. I hate it! I didn't mind forty feet before, but after walking around at six feet for over a month, I came to realize something: it sucks to be short! Oh well, my size makes me rather compatible with a particular crimson dragoness… I guess I can live with that for now. As far as my loyalties go, Antonidas never had my heart; Embyr, Crystal, and Sterling can have all of it that isn't already dedicated to my sexy red lover, though. They pulled my ass out of the fire, and for that I am eternally grateful; of course now my ass is in the fire again thanks to this Beast. Who would have thought I would have to involve myself in the apocalypse? I swear I'm going to cut the heads off of the Four Horsemen; they've distracted me from my sexy red dragon far too long.

*Slithice*
Race: Sea Naga
Height: 60 ft torso/100 ft tail
Scales: Teal
Frill: Yellow
Eyes: Green
Weapons: Claws, teeth, tail
Powers:
Magic Consumption – when a being with a mana supply enters Slithice's mouth she slowly sucks the mana from them, replenishing her own
-Character Notes-
And you thought Drow would never have a non-dragon predator? Neither did he, but I managed to work my way into the story ^=^. And what an entrance: I took down Embyr! Do you know how many people have tried to do that!? Plenty. Who succeeded? THIS GIRL!! Anyway, more or less I joined the group out of boredom; but, hey, it took me about two days to become great friends with everyone in it. I love these guys; much better company than those tasty driders. And I may have found I have a thing for Sterling. Not that I like him THAT way; he's just delicious. A relationship between a human and a dragon or naga wouldn't work out anyway… right? Right?
